Robert Arnold Neal, son of Arnold Ashley Neal and Lady Louise Carpenter was born September 23, 1917 in New Middleton, TN and passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2013. He married Dorothy Lena Davis on August 2, 1942. They were married until her death April 23, 2012.

He served in the United States Army from August 1941 to January 1946 as Signal Center Chief in China-India-Burma theatre during World War II. He was a dairy farmer. He and Dorothy raised two sons, Robert A. Neal, Jr. and Richard L. Neal. He served on Mid America Dairymen, Nixa Farmers Mutual Insurance and Ozark Electric Cooperative boards for many years. He was active in the Gideon''s International Bible distribution. For years he entertained audiences including the Governor of Missouri with his Harry Truman impersonations. He was ordained a deacon of First Baptist Church of Nixa, MO. He served Jesus for many years since his salvation at the age of 12.

He is survived by 2 sons; Bobby and his wife April, Richard and his wife Karen; 2 grandchildren, Laura Rogg and her husband Brandon and Davis Neal. He is also survived by seven brothers and one sister: Billy and Lanelle Neal; Wilson and Janice Neal; James and Colleen Neal; Iven and Ruby Neal, all of Pearsall, Texas, and Fred Neal, Midland, Texas; Frances Fitzpatrick, Odessa, Texas; Charles Neal, Mathis, Texas; Milton and Beverly Neal, Goliad, Texas and many other nieces, nephews and friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, September 2, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W State Hwy EE (Division), Springfield, MO. The funeral service will be Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. with interment to follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
