Robert Paul Foster Jr, also known as "Buster" "Bob-Bob" or just "Bob", passed away at the age of 61. June 20, 2014, proved to be a pretty hard day for many people. The world lost a great man, husband, father and grandpa.
Bob was a special kind of person. It was hard to find people like him. We will always keep him in our minds. Even though it's not possible, we wished he could have stayed forever. He may be gone but never forgotten.
If we all had our dreams come true, especially mom's, we wouldn't still be here, we would be with him. Distance may keep us all apart, but we will always hold him so close and in our hearts.
He always had a special smile on his face. Watching his family or even just being content in "his spot" on the couch made him show that smile. No one and nothing will be able to replace it. He will forever be held in our hearts in a special place.
Bob retired from the Springfield Public Schools Maintenance Department. Many of his happiest times were spent on the golf course with his cherished friends. When he no longer was able to golf, the stories and memories were shared with family and friends.
Please share our love, friendship and memories of Bob in days to come.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 2:00 p.m at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W. State Hwy EE (Division), Springfield, MO.
