Robert E. Crusie, 87 of Springfield, was born on May 16, 1927 in Wapakoneta, Ohio. He passed away on August 29, 2014.

He served in the Navy during WWII, receiving medals for Asiatic-Pacific Campaign, American Area Campaign and WWII Victory. He enjoyed fishing and gardening.

Robert is survived by his wife of 64 years, Marilyn; daughters, Lynne Crusie, Konni Stone and Sue Wakeman; 3 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild and a host of family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters.

A service will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W State Hwy EE (Division), Springfield, MO. A visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Interment will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
