Robert "Bob" Allan Bowen, Age 77, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at his home in Springfield, MO. Bob was born in Grinnell, IA to the late William "Bill" Bowen and Esther Bowen. He was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara, and two brothers, Bill Jr. and John. Bob was very proud of his family, and a longtime employee of Ozark Grocers of 23 years.  Bob loved playing basketball, going camping, and fishing in his younger years, and enjoyed "winning" games of Badminton with his family and friends. Bob is survived by his wife, Janie Bowen, and their children, Sandy, Lori, and Lisa, along with their three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  A graveside service will be conducted at White Chapel at a later date, with a post-funeral reception to follow at Charity Baptist Church.
