Robert "Bob" Lewis, of Springfield, MO, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015 in Forsyth, MO. He was the son of Richard and Juanita Lewis, born on April 21, 1929, in Springfield, MO.

He married his high school sweetheart, Shirley Elizabeth Clark in 1947, and to this 50 year union three children were born.

Robert was a machinist for 39 years at the Frisco Railroad and later Burlington Northern Railroad. He enjoyed spending time with the family playing games; hunting, fishing, gardening and golfing.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Shirley Elizabeth Lewis and daughter Shirley Ann Branson.

He is survived by two sons, Richard and Bill Lewis, and wife Christi, four grandchildren, Jordan, Hannah, Lindel, Holly; great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and son in law Dick Branson and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 14, 2015 from 11-12P.M. at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte Chapel, 4500 S. Lone Pine, Springfield, MO. Services will be held at 12:00 PM., Friday, August 14, 2015 in the chapel. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery Springfield, MO.
