Richard L. Winder Sr., was born on November 23, 1966 in Springfield, MO to Judy Kirk. He passed away on June 1, 2015 peacefully in his sleep.

He worked the majority of his life in the food industry starting at a young age with Harlen Fruit. He worked many years at Springfield Grocer. He loved to spend time with his family and friends, spending most days BBQing and watching the Dallas Cowboys. Richard loved to laugh and joke around, he never met a stranger, just new friends.

Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Bowman.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Winder; 3 children, Ashley, Kyle and Richard Jr.; 8 grandchildren; 3 brothers; 2 sisters; as well as several kids he took in and loved as his own and a huge family and many close friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 6 till 8 PM, at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W State Hwy EE, Springfield, MO. Services will be Friday, June 5, 2015 in the funeral home. Interment will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
