Raquel Schuh, age 65, of Springfield passed away in her home Tuesday, April 18, 2023. She was born on Saturday, February 15, 1958 in Los Angeles, CA to Salvador and Sylvia (Vargas) Garnica.

Raquel married Jeff Schuh on February 28, 1991 and had been married 32 years. She was an office manager at her husbands tax preparation business. Raquel enjoyed cooking, gardening, and creating skin care products.

She was preceded in death by her father Salvador in 1979; her mother Sylvia in 2016; two brothers Daniel Garnica who passed away in 2018 and Salvador Garnica II who passed away in 2001.

Raquel is survived by her husband Jeff; their children Tanya, Paul and Alanna; and grandchildren Bradley, JT, Charlie and Joonie; and her sisters Denise and Lydia.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Father Thomas Reidy officiating, at Fremont Avenue and Primrose Street, Springfield.
