Phyllis Ann Hilton, born January 12, 1948, in Riverside, California, passed away on July 4, 2024, in Ozark, Missouri, at the age of 76.

Phyllis grew up attending Longfellow Elementary School, University Heights Jr High School followed by John North High School. She furthered her education at L.I.F.E. Bible College specializing in Christian Education.

Phyllis spent many of her early years working at Capital Records in Hollywood, California and spent most of her working years at Riverside Community College, working as an administrative assistant. She was co-owner of "Balloons Are More Fun" and spent weekends decorating for various activities. A devout Christian and member at Evangel Temple, Phyllis actively participated and loved her church family. She was often found volunteering to work in the church office and wherever needed.

Phyllis was also a passionate quilter, a hobby that brought her immense joy and allowed her to connect with others through the beautiful quilts she crafted. She often would give them away to family and friends.

Phyllis is survived by two cousins, Peggy Stutz and Pat Bair. She leaves behind many friends and her adopted family.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her father, Phillip Hilton; mother, Agnus Hilton; brother, Robert Hilton.

Graveside service will be on Monday, July 15, 2025 at 10:30 A.M. in the Rivermonte Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 4500 S. Lone Pine Ave. Springfield, Mo. 65804 with Rev. Charles Arsenault officiating.
