Phillip K. Allen 91, of Springfield, MO. passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021. He was born on May 7, 1929 in Red Oak Iowa to Arthur and Rose Allen of Lebanon, MO.

Phillip and Ruth were married for 72 years and to this union had three children, Phillip Allen Jr. and Laura Maxfield. He served in the Air Force working as a welder. When he returned as a disabled veteran he worked in the parts department at OAMI type writing repair school. Phillip enjoyed fishing, collecting coins, scale antique tractors and gardening.

Preceding him in death is his daughter Phyllis Kay Allen, his parents and seven siblings.

Survivors included his wife of 72 yrs. Ruth; son, Phillip Allen Jr. and wife Dianne; daughter, Laura Maxfield; sister in-law, Lea Bolles and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Monday, February 1, 2021at 11:00 am with a visitation held one hour prior at 10:00 am at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte ( 4500 S. Lone Pine Springfield, MO 65804). A burial will follow at 2:00 pm in Mount Rose Cemetery ( 193 Mount Rose Street Lebanon, MO 65536)
