Pearl Overholser "Jean" age 94 of Willard, passed away Thursday, August 10 th , 2023. She was
born December 13 th , 1928, to Ralph and Edna Foreman in Troy Mills, Iowa. Jean married Bill Overholser
on April 3 rd , 1948, and shared over 35 years together, until Bill's passing in 1983.
Jean is survived by her daughter Jodi Overholser and seven grandchildren. Grandsons Bryan and
Doug Ackerman, Jason and Jared Overholser. Granddaughters Jodi Overholser-Smith, Stacey Hammond
and Alysia Ackerman, daughter-in-law Marsha Overholser, many great grandchildren and great, great
grandchildren, and numerous family members and friends. Jean is preceded in death by her parents, her
husband Bill, son Doug Overholser, and great grandson Jacob Overholser.
Jean was a long-time member of Hillside Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing specials and in the
choir. Oil painting and quilting, cooking and baking, and traveling were her favorite things to do. She
loved the Lord and her family.
The Celebration of Jean's life and home going will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Hillside Baptist Church at 11:00 am with a visitation starting at 10:00 am. Services will be officiated by Pastor John Bingham.
