Paul Lee Martin Jr. passed away peacefully on June 29, 2022. He was born in Springfield, MO on July 17, 1957 to parents Paul Lee Martin Sr. and Lola Marilyn (Perryman) Martin. He attended Glendale High School with the class of 1975.

Early in his work career he was a cook for Picadilly Cafeteria in Springfield and Oklahoma, working up to assistant manager and in charge of opening new locations. He also worked in commercial construction in Tulsa, then owned and operated a pressure washing company before moving back to the Ozarks in the early 90s. He hired in at Kraft Foods as an oiler, then worked as a mechanic for the rest of his 20 years there. Departments where he worked included process cheese, natural cuts, and pasta.

He retired in 2012 and moved to northern Michigan, where he enjoyed fishing from a boat tied to the dock in his back yard. He returned to Missouri in 2016 and resided in Half Way.

The Alzheimer's Disease made itself known to him before his retirement and he sought help and treatment. He often remarked that "they should have a cure by now", so you can best honor him with a donation to the Alzheimer's Association, or collect pledges and join the annual Walk to End Alzheimer's.

Paul met his wife Donna (DeGood) in 1998, and they blended their families on January 19, 1999. Paul leaves behind his beloved wife Donna, sisters Margaret (John) Brown and Linda (Mike) Howell, children Christen (Dustan) Bryant, Matthew (Stephanie) Martin, Stephen Martin, Sarah Martin and fiance Steven Lowderman, stepson Chad (Rachel) Henderson, and 8 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father in 1998, and his mother in 2019.

A service will be held at Klingner-Cope Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, July 8 at 11:00 am with burial at Rivermonte Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held Thursday, July 7 from 5:00-7:00 pm. in the Chapel.
