Dr. Paul W. Iles, Jr., 70, of Springfield, MO passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022. He was born on Monday, March 10, 1952 in Shreveport, LA to Paul W. Iles, Sr. and Ada Marie Boatwright.

Paul married Phyllis M. Smith on November 27, 1970 and to this union two children were born. He worked as a licensed Master Plumber in Louisiana, received his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 1998 and his Clinical Psychologist license in 1999. Paul loved collecting everything between ball cards, comic books and train paraphernalia. Most of all, he loved his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Pauletta M. Iles and one niece Marie Payne.

Paul is survived by his wife of 52 years, one son Paul W. Iles III, one daughter Crystal C. Iles, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 10-11 AM on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte, 4500 S. Lone Pine Ave., Springfield, MO 65804 with funeral services to follow at 11 AM. Memorial donations may be made in his name to the One Life Church of the Nazarene, 3245 S.
