Silence of the Night
By: Paul Enlow
There is silence still
The wonders of the night
No one comes, nor no one goes
We live in the silence
Of the everlasting night!
We lay in a Potters Field
No ones love, shall we feel
The cold wind blows, it howls
There amongst the Pines
There seems, no end of time!
We will wait in silence still
Just what, is our Gods will
The Angels whisper thru the Pines
Just, waiting for the time
To lead, all the children home!
Yet, the footsteps silenced
Here, in the silence of the field
The howling of the wind, like whispers
From our past, goes quickly by
And so, we quietly wait!
