Obituary

Paul Eugene Bellinger went peacefully to be with the Lord on Monday, March 19, 2018 with loving family at his side.    Paul was born January, 22, 1926 to George and Alice Bellinger in Niangua MO and called Springfield MO his home.

Paul graduated from Central High School and then Central Bible Institute.  He was a member of Central Assembly of God from a very young age.  He married Helen Porter Campbell on July 28, 1950 and they were looking forward to celebrating their 65 th anniversary when Helen passed away in June, 2015.  He and Helen operated The Bellinger Home and ministered to a wonderful group of elderly residents.

He enjoyed a 48 year career with Gospel Publish House of the Assemblies of God.  Additionally, he pastored a variety of churches in the area for over 25 years beginning with Pedelo A/G in 1951; March A/G; Keystone A/G; Elm Springs A/G; Nixa A/G; Crane A/G; and concluding with Sunnyvale A/G in 1976.  In 2017, Paul was recognized for 50 years as an ordained minister of The General Council of the Assemblies of God.

He enjoyed serving as Chaplain for the Cadet Program of the Civil Air Patrol; the Greene County Sheriff's Department; the Springfield Police Department and The Assemblies of God National Center for the Blind.

He was honored by the American Red Cross for many years of faithful blood donations beginning WWII continuing until 2013.  Other volunteer ministry included providing transportation for people with disabilities through the Enabled organization.



In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Helen; brothers, Loren and David Bellinger; Sister Lillian McCroskey; grandson, Christopher Campbell; and great granddaughter, Christina Campbell.

He is survived by daughter Melody (Richard) Hill of Webb City; sons Charles (Ethel) Campbell of Forsyth and David (Debie) Campbell of Rogersville; sister Faith Combs of Florida; Grandchildren Ronald, Richard, and Robert Campbell, Jason Campbell, Brandon
Presley, Heather Hill, Brooke Coleman; Jaime Schalk and a large number of loving great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held Monday, March 26, 2018 at Maranatha Village Chapel, 233 E Norton Road, Springfield MO.  Visitation 1:00 p.m. followed by memorial service at 2:00 p.m. with burial at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 5234 W State Highway EE, Springfield MO.

Paul requested memorial contributions to his favorite charity, Enabled, Inc. 2733 E Battlefield #288, Springfield MO  65804.  Contributions to Enabled, Inc may also be made directly through the mortuary.
