Patsy S. Beersman 76 of Springfield passed away Friday, July 19, 2013. She was born on May 19, 1937 to Clarence and Roxie Barnes Purdy. Patsy was a loving Mother and Grandmother that will be deeply missed
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jerry and a brother, Bill Purdy. Patsy is survived by daughters, Becky Osborne of Maryland; Cathy Smith of Texas, and Lisa Samuelson of Kansas; a son John Beersman of Springfield; a sister, Mary Lou Hanna, a brother Bob Purdy both of Springfield; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A visitation is scheduled for Thursday, July 25, 2013 from 2 to 3 p.m. at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte Chapel, 4500 S. Lone Pine, Springfield, MO 65804.
The family has requested donations be made in Patsy''s name to the Salvation Army, 1707 W. Chestnut Expressway, Springfield, MO 65802.
