Obituary

Pamela Christine Gavisk, 63, of Buffalo, MO, passed peacefully on Friday, November 05, 2021. She was born on Monday, June 2, 1958 in Chanute, KS to Ralph and Elaine Thurman.

Pamela and Boyd Gavisk were united in marriage on September 22, 1996. After being raised in Kansas as a child, she settled in the Buffalo/Marshfield area and remained there. Chris was a homemaker that loved her family, friends and the Lord with all her heart. She also enjoyed crafts, baking, playing cards, board games, and gardening. Chris was most recently a member of the Galesburg Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Chris is survived by her husband, three sons Michael Wilson (Amber) of Morristown, TN, Calvin Gavisk (Christina) of Clever, MO, and Jeremy Gavisk (Hannah) of Springfield, MO, three brothers Rick Thurman (Kathy), Mick Thurman (Leita) and Dan Thurman (Terri), five grandchildren Sophia, Kolby, Eli, Ronnie and Hank and many nephews and nieces. All of whom she loved deeply.

A visitation will be held from 11-12 PM on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W. State Hwy EE, Springfield, MO 65802 with funeral services to follow at noon. Burial will take place at the Clear Creek Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.klingnerfuneralhome.com
