She was preceded in death by her father, mother, half brother Robby Jameson, a brother Johnny Parrack, and her second husband Fletcher Edwards. After marrying Fletcher, the couple resided in Illinois until Fletch retired and they relocated to Florida where she worked at a nursing home in Winterhaven. The couple later moved to Moseley, VA where they resided and both worked at Wal-mart until moving back to Ona''s Missouri roots in 2001. She loved talking with her daughters as much and as long as she could. She loved all of her friends and family very much and made an impression on all those around her with her sweet and sassy temperament. To pass time, Ona watched Cardinals games, MSU games and never passed an opportunity to go to a Branson show or shopping with her sister-in-law Shirley. After moving "home" Ona worked at Wal-Mart until 2009 when she retired. After moving back to Missouri, Ona began attending church at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church where she was saved. She loved attending church and missed it so much when she was no longer able to go. She made it her mission to tell everyone about her salvation and how important it is to be saved.
