Olivia Wiggs, 89, of Springfield passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Willard Care Center.

Olivia married Chet Wiggs July 23, 1967 and retired in Springfield. They were active members of Orchard Crest Baptist Church and loved being with the church family.

She is preceded in death by her husband and a son.

Olivia is survived by her daughter Carolyn (Ed) McGuire of Springfield; grandson Mark (Tracia) McGuire; great grandsons Joe and Josh all of Walnut Grove, MO, Jacob (Julia) McGuire of Willard, MO; sisters Georgia (Mel) Schleter of Dallas, TX, Aliene Ross of St. Peters, MO and Elaine (Lee) Statton of Springfield; a brother Dean (Barbara) Dixon of Overland Park, KS and several nieces and nephews.

Thank you to the staff and residents, especially Anna at Willard Care and Preferred Hospice for their care.

Memorial donations may be made in honor of Olivia to The Arc of the Ozarks 1501 E. Pythian St Springfield, MO 65802.

A visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home 4500 S. Lone Pine Ave Springfield, MO with a graveside service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Rivermonte Memorial Gardens.
