Obituary

Norma "Jean" Moore, daughter of Georgia and Sam Jeffers, was born on September 8, 1922, in Lanagan, Missouri and passed away in Springfield, Missouri on September 13, 2011.
On February 14, 1942, she was united in marriage with Dick Moore in Joplin, Missouri, and to this union three children were born.
At an early age in life, Jean accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour. She was a member of South Haven Baptist Church. Jean enjoyed a full life in the company of many friends and dearly loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed playing bridge and making new friends. She is survived by her two daughters, Diane Langevin, of Burlington, Vermont and Susan Kellogg and her husband Kenny, of Springfield, Missouri, one son, Richard Moore and his wife Lavonne, of Roanoke, Virginia, 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dick Moore and her parents.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, September 15, 2011, in the chapel of Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte with interment to follow in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens.
