Noel Eual Wilson, 76, passed away early Saturday, February 29, 2020. He was born on Wednesday, September 1, 1943 in Springfield, MO to Everett Wilson and Lillie Posten.

Noel retired from Dayco Corporation where he had worked his entire life.  He loved the outdoors and spent his free time gardening.  Noel was an avid fisherman.  He enjoyed hunting, NASCAR, and spending time at the lake with family and friends.  Lately his favorite thing was talking to his one year old great-grandson, Landon, on the phone every evening before bed.

Noel was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers -- identical twin Errol Wilson, Ezra Wilson, Donald Wilson and Fred Hughes and one nephew Bill Hughes.

He is survived by his two children Vicky Wilson and Tracy Wilson, two step-daughters Stacy Wood (husband Lance) and Tracy Moody, two sister- in-laws Norma Hughes and Louella Wilson, four granddaughters Alicia Petersen (husband Jaren), Kylie Armstrong, Ashley Sloan and Taylor Sloan, three and a half great-grandchildren Gracie Petersen, Easton Petersen, Landon Armstrong and Baby Armstrong and several nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

A visitation will be held from 1-2 PM on Friday, March 6, 2020 at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W. State Highway EE (West Division) Springfield, MO 65802, with funeral services to follow at 2 PM. Burial will take place at White Chapel Memorial Gardens immediately following services. Memorial donations may be made in his name to MCB (Missouri Council of the Blind) Thrift Store, 2713 N. Kansas Expy, Springfield, MO 65803.
