Natasha Renee'' Wood, 35, of Pleasant Hope, Missouri, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 27, 2014. She was born July 9, 1979 to Patsy Diane Manley-Wood and the late Jeffrey Lee Wood. She was a homemaker and was previously employed at Outsource Partners.
Natasha was a very kind, loving and extremely friendly person. She adored her kitties and would never turn one away. She loved fishing at the docks at Fellows Lake, cooking, doing jigsaw puzzles, reading and country music. She enjoyed the outdoors by taking care of her fish ponds, putting up the swimming pool every year with her mom and always had a well manicured lawn. She took very good care of her mother as well and was a member of Cherry Street Baptist Church.
Surviving are Natasha''s mother, Patsy Wood, of the home; her brother, Dale Wood, of Springfield; paternal grandfather, Vernon Wood, Corydon, IN; five aunts: Christine & Jerry Cheek, Springfield; Debbie & Johnnie Campbell, Billings; Karen & Terry Warden, Branson; Sharon & Stephen Cobb, Marshfield and Barbara & Jeff Brady, Springfield; her close cousin, Kathi & Waylon Cooper, Pleasant Hope and; her lifetime best friend, Norma (Blankenship) Haskins of Fordland and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jeffrey Lee Wood; maternal grandparents, Joe and Louise Sturdivant Manley; uncles Billy Joe Manley, Harold Raymond Kinsey, Chris Wood and Kenny; her Aunt Mary and paternal grandmother, Mary Brown.
The family will receive guests from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, September 2 and funeral services will be at 1 pm Wednesday, September 3 at Klingner - Cope White Chapel funeral home, Springfield, Missouri.
