Murrel D. Cross, 99, of Sparta, Mo passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013.
She was born on June 22, 1913 to Guy and Ora Mitchell in McClurg, MO. Murrel enjoyed gardening, sewing and singing.
Murrel was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Nolan "Joe" Cross; brothers Maynard, Marshall and Marvin Mitchell; sisters Clella Humbryd, Goldie Williams and Mary Caldwell.
She is survived by her daughter Joan (William) Heinlein of Sparta, MO; granddaughter Cheryl (Mike) Mitchell of Chadwick, MO; great grandsons Corey and Colby Mitchell and sisters Elvie Daugherty and Maxine Huffman of Springfield, MO.
A service at Sparta Assembly of God in Sparta, MO. officiated by Reverend Darrell Mead and Charles Cross will be on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at 2 p.m. with visitation starting at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Bruner Cemetery.
