Milton E. "Babe" Freitas 91 of Springfield passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2014. He was a bus driver for Greyhound and Golden Gate Transfer for 24 years. Milton was an avid bowler and fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Larry and Vernon and a sister, Edna; and his first wife, Vernona Irene. Milton is survived by his wife of 21 years, Diane; a son, Milton, daughter, Susan Holland; a son, Sean Thomas; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and many bowling friends.

A visitation is scheduled for Thursday, January 23, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home Rivermonte Chapel. The funeral service will be held Friday, January 24, 2014 at 10 a.m. in the Rivermonte Chapel with burial to follow in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens.
