Michael Wright, 59, of Springfield, Missouri, passed on August 28, 2021 at Mercy Hospital. He was born August 9, 1962 to parents Betty Lorene Freeman and Morton Roy Wright in Springfield, Missouri.

Michael loved to spend his time fishing out fishing or repairing cars. To his loved ones, it seemed like there was nothing that he couldn't fix.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Bob, Jerry, Rick, and Gary Wright. Michael is survived by His fiance, Stacy Self of Springfield, Missouri; sister, Linda Swank with husband Steve of Battlefield, Missouri; brother, Timothy Wright with wife Ruby of Willard, Missouri; son, Michael Nelson of Springfield, Missouri; and numerous other friends and family.
