Michael Patrick Robinson was born December 8, 1946 in Springfield, MO and passed from this life on February 7, 2015 in Springfield. He was preceded in death by his father, Lillburn Franklin Robinson and mother, Loyce Lorane (Gower) Robinson.
Mike is survived by his wife, Bernita Carol (Tarter) Robinson, daughters Annette (Steve) Murphy, Mechelle Atchley and sons Ronnie (Carla) Taylor, Steve (Ann) Atchley, Michael Atchley and Devan (Amanda) Atchley; grandchildren Kristy, Cody A. Cody C., Eddie, Dustin, Melissa, Dakota, Destiny, Keagan, and Austin; great grandchildren Allison and Julissa, a sister Mari Jo Ahor and a host of other family and friends.
Mike was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. He was an Ordained Minister of the Gospel and loved the Lord with all his heart. Mike will be greatly missed.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, February 12, 2015 at the East Side General Baptist Church, 1606 N. Oak Grove, Springfield at 2 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Cemetery.
