Michael Billy Kaylor, age 73, of Springfield went to be with the Lord Sunday, February 12, 2023. He was born June 13, 1949 in Longview, TX to Charles and Marie Elizabeth (Lamb) Kaylor.

Mike grew up in Longview, TX. After he graduated high school he attended college in Springfield, MO earning a Bachelor's degree.

Mike retired from the real estate business and was a 10 ^th degree in martial arts. He taught martial arts for over 50 years at the YMCA in Springfield. Mike competed internationally with Team USA under Grand Master Pai.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents; a brother Danny Simmons; sisters Sheila Kaylor and Linda Duvall; a brother-in-law Robert Slaughter; a nephew Bob Slaughter; and one great-nephew Joe Blaine Slaughter.

Mike is survived by his loving family Pat Tillman, Johnnie Tillman, Maryann Slaughter, Chip and Patsy Dickerson, David and Jane Dickerson; Mike's good friend Mike Shoemaker; many nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Cremation is under the direction of Klingner-Cope Funeral Home at White Chapel, Springfield.
