Melvin Lester Parrow Jr, 36, of Springfield, MO went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday October 31, 2018. He was born December 23, 1981 to Melvin and Marilyn (Sledge) Parrow in Cape Girardeau, MO.

Thinking about Melvin always brings joy to his family's heart and a smile to their faces. He was a loving son, brother and father. He loved his family dearly and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Melvin enjoyed sports, family gatherings and definitely loved his children.

Melvin was preceded in death by his grandparents; Percey and Melviona Parrow and Elijah and Lucille Smith and uncles; Ernest and Andrew Ruffin.

Left to mourn his passing is his parents; Marilyn Sledge and Melvin Parrow Sr., stepfather; Thomas Litsey, children; Leesha and Shi'Liya Parrow, brothers; Joshua Parrow, Dante Litsey and Chimanga Smith and sister; Shameca and Latash Parrow and Takesha Palmer and Deonandrea Stainback.
