Melissa Ermasteen "Ermie" Ricks Malin

Ermasteen was born July 3, 1937 was born in Campbell, Missouri to Owen and Ruth Ricks.
She graduated from Campbell High School in 1955. She married her high school sweetheart, Harold Malin, on August 22, 1956. They celebrated 62 years of marriage in August 2018.

Ermasteen peacefully passed away in her home on September 10, 2018. She was proceeded in death by her father, Owen Ricks; mother, Ruth (Hicks) Ricks; and brother, Charles "Cappy" Ricks.

She is survived by her husband, Harold Malin; sister, Ilamae Brown, and her husband, Curtis; sister, Gretta Edwards, and husband, Jerry; her son, Dean Malin, and wife, Linda; and her daughter, Carol Stephens, and husband, Don.

She loved her grandchildren; Amanda Malin, Melissa Stephens Shelton and Dustin Malin; along with two great grandsons; Beckett Malin and Connor Shelton; and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends that loved her.

Ermasteen enjoyed gardening, reading, needlework, crocheting, and adding to her bell collection.

Although battling with Parkinson's disease, Ermasteen remained fiercely independent. She lived life to the fullest with family and friends.
