Mary Magdalene "Maggie" (Terry) Perry, 93 of Springfield, MO passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Ozark Riverview Manor, Ozark, MO from a life of hard work, strength, determination and a loving sweet spirit.
Maggie was born on September 2, 1922 in Springfield, MO; raised on a farm in a two-room rock home near Conway, MO. On June 7, 1942, she married Charles Edgar Perry and from this union four children were born.
She loved raising her family, enjoyed quilting, reading, and baseball. Her favorite teams were St. Louis Cardinals and Atlanta Braves. Maggie retired from St. John''s Health Center (Mercy) after 37 years. She was a member of Mentor Baptist Church, Rogersville, MO.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Bill and Ida (Moore) Terry, six sisters and their husbands: Pearl Hendrix, Neoma Lane, Gusta Ott, Elizabeth Seiler Williams, Vieta Ragsdale and Loita Ragsdale; 2 brothers and their wives, Jess and Carl Terry; one brother-in-law Leonard Charney; a son-in-law "Country" Tom Bowser and one nephew Ed Ragsdale.
Survivors are one sister Juanita Charney, a brother-in-law Cecil Ragsdale; 4 children Janice Sue Bowser, Charles O. "Charley" Perry, Robert and wife Janice Perry, Mary Lou and husband Rick Tracy; 5 grandchildren "Bee" Charles O. Perry, Jr. and wife Michelle, Lee Wayne Perry and wife Beth, Chad Perry and wife Layla, Rachel Bethurem and husband David, Richard Tracy and wife Christen; 8 great-grandchildren Brooke, Brett, Cole, Chase, Weston, Chayla, Sebastian and Avery; plus many nieces, nephews, relatives, and a great many friends.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday July 6, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Rivermonte Memorial Gardens, 4500 S. Lone Pine under the direction of Klingner-Cope at Rivermonte. Pastor Jamie Bilyeu will be officiating.
Family has requested donations be made in Maggie''s name to St. Jude''s Children''s Research Hospital.
