Mary Etta Staley, 78 of Aldrich, MO was born on July 1, 1936 in Springfield to Benjamin and Stella (Dean) Baird. She passed away on August 18, 2014.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Walnut Grove since 2003 and loved to go to her grandson''s baseball games and gardening.

Mary Etta is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Grant and husband John; grandsons, Braden and Dakota Grant; sister, Barbara Dooley and husband Ron; niece and nephew, Travis Dooley and Rhonda Dooley and a host of family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband of over 20 years, Gene Staley and an infant son.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2014 from 6 till 8 pm at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W State Hwy EE, Springfield. A service will be held on Friday, August 22, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Nolan D. Carrier officiating. Interment will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
