Mary Ellen Staley, 94, of Springfield, MO, passed away at her home on Wednesday, June 28, 2017. She was born on Monday, July 3, 1922 in San Jose, CA to Ellen Stoller and Oscar Spillman.

On December 25, 1943 Mary and James Edward Staley were united in marriage in Los Gatos, CA. Together they enjoyed almost 66 years of marriage until his passing in May of 2009. Mary loved taking pictures, crocheting and spending time with friends and family, especially her Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one sister Betty Jane Montasano and one brother James R. Spillman.

Mary is survived by her son Richard Staley (wife Marsha) of Branson West, MO, one sister Janet Faso (husband Matthew) of Campbell, CA, five grandchildren, nine great-grand children, ten great-great-grand children and numerous nieces, nephew, friends and family.
