Mrs. Mary M. Reed, age 88, of De Soto, MO, peacefully passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025 at Hillcrest Care Center, De Soto, MO.

Mary Magdalene Reed was born on Wednesday, July 7, 1937 in Caruthersville, MO to Elton and Emily (Robertson) Hollingsworth.

Mary is survived by four daughters, Lena Bryant of Alabama, Linda Beckwith of Springfield, MO, Pam Evans of Everton, MO, and Angelia Beckwith of Rogersville, MO.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Lee "Pete" Reed; one son, Eugene Beckwith; parents, Elton and Emily Hollingsworth.

Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:00 am, Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Klingner cope Funeral Home Rivermonte, Springfield, MO. Funeral service will follow at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor Johnny Hollingsworth and Minister Travis Hollingsworth officiating. Burial will be in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
