Mary Ellen Monday, 89 of Springfield was born on August 29, 1925 in Piggott, AR to Dale Cole and Joe Parton. She passed away on January 19, 2015.

She was united in marriage to Bob Monday on April 7, 1945, loved to travel and spend time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Frank Parton.

Mary is survived by her husband Bob; 2 children, Sue (Tom) Collier, Brighton, MO and Joy (Lynn) Adams, Long Lane, MO; 4 brothers, Orville Parton, Detroit, MI, Harley Parton, Phoenix, AZ, Don (Marlene) Parton, Rector, AR and Claude (Helen) Parton, Jonesboro, AR; sister, Dorothy Eskew, Detroit, MI; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
