Mary Ann Dalan, aged 76 passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025 in Springfield, Missouri. She was born on February 6, 1950. Her adoptive parents were Emory and Nonndee Dalan, of Waxahachie, Texas. Mary Ann also had a younger brother, Kenny Dalan.

Mary Ann grew up with many physical and academic challenges, but her loving family helped her to be an overcomer! She graduated from the eighth grade, and was a tremendous blessing to all who knew her.

Her family lived in Texas for many years before moving to Springfield, Missouri. After the death of her parents, she was cared for by her brother, Kenny until he passed away. In 2004, Mary Ann came to live Maranatha Village in Springfield.

Mary Ann grew up in a Pentecostal Christian home and loved going to church and reading her Bible. At Maranatha, she enjoyed visiting with her friends, being involved with the many activities throughout the week, including playing bingo, movie & popcorn day, watching TV in the dayroom, getting her hair done and fingernails polished, and attending the weekly Bible studies and church services in the chapel. She really loved Jesus!

She was known for her great sense of humor, and sweet disposition toward her fellow residents and the staff who cared for her with great love in return. She will be greatly missed here on Earth, and she is now enjoying all the love and glory of her Savior Jesus Christ, and the fellowship of her friends and family in Heaven.
