Mary Ellen Belle, 78, of Springfield, MO passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at her home with family by her side. She was born on Wednesday, August 13, 1941 in Springfield, MO to Dorothy Ann Smith and Melvin Eugene Hendrix.

Mary lived for her family. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and listening to Conway Twitty.

Mary was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband Stephen James Belle, two sons Danny and Scott Belle, one granddaughter Vicky Lynn Walker, one grandson James Warren Bilyeu, one great grandson Damion Belle, two sisters Janice McConnell and Barbara Jean Davis and one brother Douglas Hendrix.

She is survived by her six children Stephen Belle (wife Janette) of Springfield, MO, Mary Ann Totten (husband David) of Strafford, MO, Vicky Walker, Jimmy Belle (wife Cynthia), Patsy Thompson (husband Vernon) and Frances Bilyeu of Springfield, MO, three sisters Kay Elliot (husband Mike) of Stockton, MO, Linda Ryan of Greenfield, MO and Bonnie Hendrix of Strafford, MO, two brothers Tommy Hendrix (wife Dee) of Rockaway Beach, MO and Johnny Hendrix of Springfield, MO, 21 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.
