Mary Sue (Looney) Adams, 84, passed away on October 19, 2014, at Mercy Hospital. She was born December 19, 1929, to Roy T. & Mary E. (Warren) Looney.

Mary attended Lincoln Elementary & High School. She was united in marriage to Billy W. Adams, Sr., on March 8, 1951. They were blessed with one son, Billy Jr. She was an elevator operator at the Greene Co. Courthouse until she retired in 1993. She was a long time member of Pitts Chapel, U.M.C.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, 5 brothers & 3 sisters.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Billy Adams, Jr. & wife Lorraine, of Springfield, MO; 3 grandchildren, Marcus Adams & Caprice Adams, of Springfield, MO & Donyell Lee, of Bremerton, Washington; one great-grandchild & a host of nieces, nephews & cousins.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 23, 2014, from 6-8 PM at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at the Chapel, 4500 S. Lone Pine, Springfield, MO. Services will be held at 10 AM, Friday, October 24, 2014, in the chapel. Burial will follow in Hazelwood Cemetery
