Marvin Gott Sr., 74, of Springfield, MO passed away May 10, 2013 in his home.
Marvin was a self employed mechanic, he loved motorcycles in his younger years, Marvin and Shirley loved boating and fishing. He was a very caring husband and father and he will be missed by so many.
Marvin was preceded in death by a son, William David (Billy) Gott; his parents, Lee and Dorothy Gott; a brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Terry Gott.
Marvin is survived by his wife Shirley of the home; his children, Marvin Gott Jr. and wife Darla, Jerry Gott and wife Bobbie, Diana Maez and husband Phil, Bobby Gott and wife Melissa; 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends including the Morgans from Southern, CA.
Visitation will be held Monday, May 13, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W State Hwy EE (Division), Springfield, MO with services to be Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 2 p.m.
