Marvin H. Dean, 84 of Stockton, MO passed away on July 9, 2016 at Stockton Nursing Home.
Marvin was retired from TWA. He was born May 2, 1932 in Rolla, MO. The son of Nellie (Chilton) Dean and Arthur Eli Dean. He married Genave Dupre on Jan. 6, 1956 in Sulphur, LA. He later married Alice Cook on Sept. 14, 2002.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 wives; daughter, Frances K. Dean; 3 sisters, Geinie Ruth, Joyce Pratter and Alice F. Molohon; 2 brothers, Billy J. Dean and Robert A. Dean.
Marvin is survived by his son, William P. Dean and wife Christine of St. Louis MO; 2 daughters, RoxAnn Carp of Springfield, MO and Juanita G. Rash and husband Robert of Parkville, MO; 4 brothers, Clyde F. Dean, Arthur F. Dean, Richard L. Dean and Edward W. Dean; 2 sisters, Donna K. Mueller and Helen M. Hollis; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 15, 2016 from 10 till 11 a.m. in Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W. St. Hwy EE (Division), Springfield, MO with services to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens following the service.
