Martha Sue Ruble, 80, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 9, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on November 10, 1944, in Ottumwa, Iowa, Martha was a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her son Steve Ruble and his wife, Christine; son Tim Ruble and his wife, Suzanne; their children: Samuel; Emily Beley and her husband, Chad; Edward; and Aaron and his wife, Iris, and their son, Oliver; and daughter Katrina Sweaney and her husband, Finis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim L. Ruble, and daughter, Sabrina L. Ruble.

Martha had a passion for life. She enjoyed traveling, taking photos, gardening, and, most importantly, spending time with her family. A talented musician, she loved playing the piano, accordion, guitar, trumpet, and organ, filling her home with church hymns that will be fondly remembered. She owned and operated Martha's Yarn Barn, sharing her passion for knitting and crocheting with others. In recent years, she dedicated herself to writing a book about her travels and family history, ensuring her memories would be kept alive.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM at the Pickleball Warehouse, located at 515 W. Jonathan Dr., Marionville, MO 65705.   In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Northeast Community Park at Praise Assembly Church, reflecting Martha's love for community and the outdoors.

Martha's loving, kind, and generous spirit touched the lives of many. She will be deeply missed and remembered with affection by all who knew her.
