Martha E. Nicholson 84 of Springfield went to be with her Lord on Saturday, March 16th, 2013 at The Maples. She was born December 24th, 1928 to Homer and Nova Hale in Springfield. Martha married Kenneth Nicholson in 1953, he preceded her in death. She enjoyed knitting, sewing and cooking while being a homemaker and music teacher. Martha was a devoted wife, mother and friend.

She was also preceded in death by a son Charley A. Nicholson. Martha is survived by her two daughters, Rita Turner and Meta Loofbourrow, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and numerous other family and friends.

A funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 2 p.m. in Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
