Mark T. Luther, age  65 of Battlefield, Mo. passed away peacefully on Friday, October 27, 2023 at his residence with his wife Cynthia by his side.

Mark Terrell Luther was born on Friday, November 29, 1957 in El Paso, Tx. to Oliver and Josephine (Bothwell) Luther. Mark was a loving husband, father, father-in-law and papa. He loved spending time with family and friends. He was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys. Mark also enjoyed playing games with his granddaughter Ember. He was a devoted follower of Christ and served faithfully as a Deacon at North Nixa Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Luther of the home; one son, Jeff Luther and wife, Sierra; granddaughter, Ember Luther; mother-in-law, Joella McCallister; brother-in-law, Howard L. McCallister and wife, Alyssa; father, Oliver Luther;one brother, John Luther and a host of friends.

Mark is preceded in death by his mother, Josephine Luther and one brother, Perry Luther.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 3, 2023 in the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home White Chapel; 5234 W. State Hwy EE, Springfield, MO 65802 with Reverend Travis Edwards officiating. Graveside service will follow in the White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
