Marjorie McCallister, age 84, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015, in Springfield, MO. She was born to Florence and Jesse James Wells on Sunday, June 8, 1930, in Santa Maria, CA.

In 1949, Marjorie married Carl in Santa Maria, Ca. They enjoyed 23 years of marriage until he passed in 1972. She was a Corporate Official for the McCallister Volkswagen Dealership. Marjorie enjoyed spending time at the lake, cooking, and playing practical jokes. She was a mother to all and took pleasure in spending time with family and friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, seven brothers and sisters.

Marjorie is survived by her sons, Scott A. McCallister and Jeff "Jocko" (Margaret) McCallister; daughter, Carla McCallister; grandsons, Jeff, Mac and Jason McCallister; granddaughter, Sommer McCallister; and numerous family and friends all from Springfield, MO.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2015, from 1-2 P.M., at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte Chapel, 4500 S. Lone Pine, Springfield, MO. Services will be held at 2 P.M., Tuesday March 3, 2015, in the chapel. Burial will follow in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens.
