IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Marilyn
Bogner
September 7, 1934 – February 5, 2025
Marilyn Gay Bogner, 90, of Springfield, MO passed away on Wednesday, February 5th, 2025 after a brief illness. She was born on Friday, September 7, 1934 in to Albert Russell and Grace Ethel Ackerman/Lynch.
Marilyn married the love of her life, Charles Franklin Bogner on July 2nd, 1951. They raised three children, Charles David, Charlynn, and Gail Ann Bogner. They enjoyed 30 years of marriage, before Charles's tragic passing in 1981. Marilyn spent most of her life as a homemaker. She did a great job of raising her children and was always there for them in their adult years. Marilyn always put her family first. Her loss will be felt by so many. There are no words great enough to describe the impact she had on the ones who loved her. To know her was to love her. Marilyn had a large family she was very close to and was even a great-great-grandmother. There will forever be a piece missing without her beautiful soul, but there is peace in knowing she is with the ones that have been lost over the years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Bogner, sons Charles David Bogner, and John Russell Bogner, great grandson Quinton Bogner, sister, Dorothy Baugh, brother-in-law, John Baugh, sister-in-law Judy Lynch, nephew Stephen Osbern, and parents Grace Ethel Lynch and Albert Russell Lynch
Marilyn is survived by many: Brother Russell (Ginger) Lynch, and his children. Daughter Charlynn Bogner, her children Tyler (Cindy) Walker and Tara (Andrew Berry) Walker. Daughter Gail Bogner, her children Wesley (Nikohl) McKee, Amanda (Keith) Martin, Marissa (Laddie) Story, Brittany Hewes, and Brandon Hewes. Daughter in law Debbie Bogner, her children Brett (Kristen) Bogner, and Beth (Dustin) Mitchell. Twenty-two great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a special niece, Robin Osbern, a close friend Maggie Eaves, sister-in-law Susan Haynes, and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
