Marie Sue Keffer, 93, of Willard, MO passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017 with family by her side. She was born on Sunday, November 2, 1924 in Springfield, MO to Myrtle Caroline Kimmons and Everett Monroe Craig.
Sue and John William Keffer were united in marriage on October 23, 1946 and enjoyed 56 years together until his passing in 2002. She loved flowers, bowling and spending time with friends and family. Sue was a member of the Willard 1st Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, son John W. Keffer, Jr., grandson John E. Stever, II and sister Mary Lou Slagle.
Sue is survived by her three children Lelan Keffer (wife Terry), Carol Adkins (husband Ralph) and Bill Keffer (wife Diane), one brother Everett Craig (wife Lorene), five grandchildren Todi Crawford, Angela Pierceall, Amie White, Nathan Keffer and Ryan Keffer, seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.
A visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the Klinger-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte, 4500 S. Lone Pine Ave., Springfield, MO 65804 with funeral services conducted by Pastor Dennis Gromer at 10am on Friday, January 5, 2018. Burial will take place at the Robberson Prairie cemetery following services.
