Marian Friedhofen, 82, was born on August 1, 1931 in St. Petersburg, FL to Arthur and Etta (Miner) Swain. She passed away on July 16, 2014.

She was married to Roderick Friedhofen on August 29, 1974 in Miami, OK. She graduated from Central High School and retired from Hutchens Industries. She is a founding member of Oak Grove Assembly of God Church, enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing music and spending time with her family and friends.

Marian is survived by her 8 children, Jim (Jeanne) Davidson of Nixa, MO, Steve (Linda) Davidson of Seminole, OK, Bill (Julie) Davidson of Albuquerque, NM; Leroy Workman of Republic, MO, Kenny Hall of Springfield, MO, Tonya Durst of Springfield, MO Marty (Tim) Stockstill of Springfield, MO and Lori Melton of Springfield, MO; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; her dog Misti and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother, William Swain.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 21, 2014 at 6:00 PM in Oak Grove Assembly of God Church, 1320 S. Oak Grove Ave, Springfield, MO with Pastor Ron Morein to officiate.
