Marian Irene Lazenby, age 99, of Springfield passed away January 15, 2014. She was born August 8, 1914, to John George and Irene Lovelace Schneider. Marian was united in marriage to Alman Leonard Lazenby (deceased) February 6, 1938. Their marriage was blessed with two children Jerry (deceased) and Julie. Marian is survived by her daughter, Julie Humphrey and husband Randy; 4 grandchildren, Dr. Clint Humphrey, Adam Humphrey, Chris Lazenby, and Monica Goggin; and 7 great grandchildren.
Marian raised her family in a fine Christian home. She made many acquaintances at her work selling furniture for Dillard''s from which she retired.
A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 18, 2014, at Maranatha Village Chapel, 233 E. Norton Road, Springfield, MO, Rev. Darryl Paddock officiating.
