Mae Bell Mcgee's Obituary
Mae B. McGee, 73 of Springfield went to her heavenly reward on Wednesday, July 6, 2016. She was born May 17, 1943 in Portageville, MO to Morris and Josie Henry (Askew) McGee.
Mae attended Central High School and retired after 20 plus years from the Greene County Sheriff''s Department. She was a member of the Greater Metropolitan Baptist Church, loved to travel and was a very kindhearted and loving woman.
Mae was preceded in death by her parents, a son: Michael, four brother and three sisters. She is survived by a daughter: Nina, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, three sisters and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
The family would like to thank everyone for the prayers, card and phone calls.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 from 1 till 2 pm at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W. State Hwy EE (Division), Springfield, MO with service to follow at 2:00 pm. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
