Mae Ann Allen (LaFollette) passed peacefully with her family at her side at the Arbors at Lakewood Alzheimer''s Unit on May 11, 2013. She was born on May 1, 1931. Mae married David Junior Allen on January 10, 1948 and to this union, 3 daughters were born, Evelyn Comstock (John), Barbara Trogdon (Garry) and Teresa Anderson (Larry). She retired from Dayco and enjoyed dancing, painting, woodworking and working in her yard and flowers. Mae and Junior made and sold windchimes and have one in about every state.

She was preceded in passing by her parents, her husband of 49 years, one daughter, Barbara, 5 sisters and 3 brothers. Mae is survived by her 2 daughters and their husbands, a son-in-law, 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.

The family would like to thank the Arbors at Lakewood, Brad, CiCi and all the wonderful staff for their love and support; also for Kathy from HPC for all they did. It''s a true blessing that these people gave so much of themselves to make Mae and her family feel like she was special as they do all their people at the Arbors.

A visitation will be held Saturday, May 18th from 10 to 11 a.m. at Klingner-Cope at Midtown, 1635 N. Benton with the service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Bass Chapel Cemetery between Strafford and Fair Grove.
