Mable Louise Appleby-Jones, 95, was born on October 15, 1917 to William R Appleby and Elizabeth Dahlman in Springfield, MO. She passed away on October 15, 2012 at Woodland Manor.
She was a CNA and retired from Fosters Nursing Home in 1973 after many years of service. Preceded in death by her parents, 2 sons, William O Dunn and Larry Gene Dunn and her beloved cat of 23 years "Miss Kitty".
Mable is survived by sons, David L Dunn, William Jones and wife Joetta of Springfield; daughters, Karen Freund and husband Ron of Humansville, Mary Ann Fergusen of Lampe; brother, Harry Appleby Sr.; nephew, Harry Jr. and wife Susan; niece, Ann Sheree Pryor and husband George of Kansas City; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends
A graveside service will be held at White Chapel Memorial Gardens on Friday, October 19, 2012 at 2:00 pm under the direction of Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel. Contributions may be made to the Springfield Humane Society, 3161 W Norton Rd, Springfield, MO 65802.
Mable is at peace and is now with her beloved "Miss Kitty". We will love you always.
