Loretta Jeanette Mumford 69, of Springfield MO. passed away on Friday August 13, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield MO. She was born in New Madrid MO. on Tuesday January 1, 1952 to James Irvin and Charity Mae Grant.

She was Married to William Mumford on September 20, 1980. Loretta went to Culinary School in Chicago then became a Chefs assistant at Billy's Restaurant in Chicago she did what she loved doing which was cooking.

Loretta was a member of the Sanctuary of Praise in Springfield MO. since 2003.

Preceded in death by her husband, William Mumford, her father James Irvin, sister Dorse, little brother Timmy Heard and older brothers, Walter Grant and O'Dale Grant.

Loretta is survived by Natlee Mosley(Springfield),Bill Mosley(Andrea)of Springfield, Sabrina Parker(Atlanta GA.), Wyman Mosley(Samantha) of Springfield, Chelsea(Elgin) of Chicago IL, and Rashaan Mumford (Chicago) and brother Charles and Tony, Juanita Mumford, and Aurther Mumford.

She also had Six grand children and Two great- grand children.

Visitation will be held on Saturday 4, 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Sanctuary of Praise (2245 S. Holland Springfield MO.65807). Chapel services will be at 11:00 am.
